Health & wearable

The most innovative research and development line at Gter, where we have been studying for years the best ways to provide precision, accuracy, and reliability in human body kinematics tracking. The idea behind the solutions we design lies in applying space technologies to human tracking, integrating high-precision GNSS sensors into wearable devices.

We develop solutions to monitor human body movement with great precision outside the laboratory environment. Our primary target is high-level athletes and athletic trainers. We are also exploring solutions that, building on this field, can contribute to the sectors of remote medicine and rehabilitation.

REMOT

The Real Environment Movement Tracker (REMOT) is a miniaturized, wearable device that enables the monitoring of walking kinematics and, more broadly, the movement of a person during outdoor activities in real-life settings.

GESTUS

GESTUS is the natural continuation of the REMOT project. In GESTUS, we design and develop the entire platform for tracking athletes’ kinematics during training. In GESTUS, with an international and diverse team, we are developing a second version of the ergonomic wearable device, designing and building a platform for cloud processing, and creating a mobile app to manage the system.

End users play a central role in the project: they are directly involved and will take part in extensive testing campaigns.
